Just started reading but already engrossed. I'm loving it so much that I can't get enough, but very happy the story is completed so I can read and stop at any time.

Do You Want To Read A Movie? Hello there! The Author is here for a self-review. This is my first work and for me, for the person who is one of the most explicit examples of procrastination, to write 63 chapters so far is definitely a great deal. *congrats to myself* Now, let's go back to the review itself. Writing quality. First of all, I think writing in the language which is clearly not your mother tongue is really hard, and maybe, sometimes, my syntactic constructions can be a little bit strange, but still, they are understandable and grammatically correct. I don't have grammar mistakes (at least, I didn't find any), but the style is just the way it is. This version is my first draft, and I plan to do the editing after I finish the whole book. So take it easy and pay attention to the plot itself. Story development. Like one of the readers said in the comment section - "It feels like I'm watching a movie.....it has all the ingredients of a hit one...." – I do try hard to make the story vivid and emotional. So be ready for the suspense. You will be puzzled with the answer to the question "who is the bad guy?" Character design and world background – As far as I can see, my readers are still waving from one character to another, guessing who is the protagonist and who is the antagonist, who you can trust, and who you shouldn't. It means that I managed to achieve my goal. Can't wait to see how everyone will react when the truth will be revealed and all the masks will be taken off. Stability of updates. To my mind, this point is crucial for translated novels, because they are completed already, and you always can hire more people to handle the translation and update as many chapters as you want (though mass releases are not welcomed by translation teams, because the longer you update, the more readers you attract, which means the more money you get). The same goes for premium original novels. They have a rule for daily updates with 2-3 chapters. As you can see, my novel doesn't belong to any of these two categories. I don't have a strict schedule for updates, but I try to update daily. Because it helps me to keep the process of writing stable, and I'm very happy when new chapters are welcomed by my dear readers. It inspires a lot and gives the energy to write even more. Sometimes, when I cannot update for a day or two (because of some obvious daily life reasons), I try to upload 2 or 3 chapters at once, to compensate for the delay. So I think my stability of updates is pretty good because this novel is not pre-written and you get chapters as soon as they are ready, like hotcakes straight from the oven. This is the main points I wanted to share with you. If you are here, it means you are reading my loooong review, so thank you for your time and attention! I will be glad if you dedicate your time to reading my novel and if it entertains you somehow, it would mean that I did something useful in my life. Thank you for reading and all the best! Take care and may God bless you and your beloved ones. I believe, the family is the most important thing we have in this world. This work wouldn't be the way it is right now without the huge support from my family. Thank you.

Eve of the Doomsday

Eve Ziffer always believed that one day her nano-machines would save humanity. It needed to be saved—from pollution, from the climate change, from the wars. Yet in the end, her research instead turned out to be the thing that pushed it into the very abyss. After surviving an attack and waking up from a six-years long coma that followed, Eve opens her eyes to see the world changed beyond recognition. Walking corpses roam the streets, and humans fight them with swords and superpowers. Now Eve is the only person able to finish her own work and fix the nano-machines that brought this devastation. Whether the last vestiges of mankind would disappear, or would the human race rise like a phoenix from the ashes—all lies in hands of Eve and the people she will meet along the way. They will fight and they will scheme and they will talk, because human vices are adversaries as bad as the zombies; and trials of friendship and love can be as perilous as any battle. ===================== Victor leaned towards her face, burning her with his glare. “No.” “I’m doing this for myself, for you and for science. Any single one of these reasons is enough to keep disagreeing with you.” Victor’s eyes dropped to her lips. ‘There is more than a single way to dominate a person…’ Before he could even try to stop himself, he dived in, pressing his lips on hers. His hand grabbed the back of Eve’s head, another fell on Eve’s thin waist and followed the alluring lines of her figure to her hip. His body was burning with inner fire. Eve was too shocked to think. She never expected for this standoff to end like it did. Victor kissed her as if he wanted to eat her. His bites stung, but his lips soothed. The heat of his hand burned her skin even through clothes. Then Eve finally regained her sanity. She drove her knee into Victor’s groin. He gasped and bended in pain, letting Eve go. Before he could resist, she continued the combo with a strike to the back of his head and a submission hold on his arm. “What are you doing?! I should’ve listened to Xia better. Men really are worse than dogs! How did I miss the moment when your brain had turned into mush, Victor?” “I didn’t think that I would need to spell it out, but there can be no romantic interactions in work time, and no romantic relations between researchers and test subjects. More than that, I’m not interested!” ==================== [Status: completed] Warning! Apocalypse Days: I Rule with Foresight and a Powerful Son

You’d think seeing the future would give me a head start on surviving the apocalypse. I had it all planned—until everything I knew shattered when my husband sacrificed himself to save me and our son. Now it’s just me, my three-year-old son Leo, and my cursed gift of foresight that only seems to kick in when it’s nearly too late. I’m doing my best to keep us safe, to find food, to make some kind of plan— “Mommy?” I glance down, trying to ignore the tug on my pant leg as I focus on our supplies. “Not now, Leo. Mommy’s thinking.” “Mommy!” I sigh and finally look down. My three-year-old is standing there, clutching… I blink. “Leo, where did you get a knife?” He shrugs, grinning like it’s the most natural thing in the world. My heart stutters. “No, really. Where did you find that?” I try not to laugh. I mean, he’s three. Maybe he just—found it somewhere? But the next day, it’s a water bottle. Then, a tiny flashlight, somehow with batteries still inside. I don’t even know what else; he’s pulling things out one by one with the pleased grin of a kid who’s just figured out his favorite game. Well, we may just survive this mess after all. Now, if only the universe could have spared me from him. I don’t even know his name, but I know his type: tall, broad, and annoyingly handsome, with an air of calm control that’s out of place in this chaos. Ex-military, if I had to guess, with a voice that’s just as infuriating as his smirk. The man has a habit of showing up at the worst—or best—possible times, with a gun at the ready and secrets buried as deep as those bright green eyes. I mean, he’s probably useful, but I’m trying to keep my eyes on the prize here: survival. For Leo and me. Because, foresight or no foresight, nothing is guaranteed in this new world—except the fact that people like him are trouble.
