So here’s a rundown so far. FL reincarnates into her younger body before the zombie apocalypse in a (possibly) ancient world. At this time, she’s been reincarnated for 3 days. Before this reincarnation, she was a talisman practitioner who was betrayed by her best friend and experimented on because she was a mystic cultivator. Possibly, shortly after the zombie apocalypse happens (which is apparently happening in a few days), her mother dies of depression thanks to her mother-in-law, her father remarries (judging from her attitude, she doesn’t think much of her father), her stepmother is evil, that human trafficker in chapter 1 sells her younger sister off where she is mistreated to the point of death, and her younger brother is rebellious. At this point at the start of the novel, her brother is not born yet, her younger sister is 3, at her death she will be 12, which means the zombie apocalypse will have been around for at least 9 years. Our FL is 7 at the time of her reincarnation (even though she looks younger but that might just be malnutrition since 7 is the age in which mystic cultivators are awakened) which means in 9 years, she’s 16. She lives for around 10 years more (26 at her death according to her, plus days just floating about all ghost-like) before she dies (cause unknown so far). After the apocalypse, people with extraordinary abilities start appearing, like those apothecaries with healing breaths, maybe even those talisman practitioners as well? Also, there’s this Heavenly Dao Sect who seems to be even more powerful than royal families because they have all the rights to mine magnetite and distribute it to everyone else and even princes will be punished for trying to secretly mine it. Which probably means that magnetite is some kind of powerful and special resource to everyone. Also, they probably monopolize most of the mystic cultivators in this Sikong world. There’s also a Mystic Cultivator Association which will help children from age 7-15 unlock their potential and unseal their meridians to become mystic cultivators. These kids can keep trying every year til they’re 15. After 15, these same children will be considered failures never to become mystic cultivators (with the exception of the FL who became one at 16). Also, thanks to her previous life and the knowledge she gained before, she is now a genius mystic cultivator at the age of 7. Have I missed anything? That’s what I’ve gotten so far. 😂

When the certain darkness threatens to take Oriana away, will the Dragon be able to protect his mate? ----- Excerpt- “If I knew you were my betrothed, I would have killed you the very first moment we met." Arlan's gaze darkened with hatred. “If I knew I was betrothed to you, I would have killed myself before you even killed me!” Oriana mirrored the same emotions as him. He pulled out a dagger and offered it to her. “It’s not too late. Just slit your throat with this and you'll bleed out painlessly.” She accepted the knife, her fingers clutching its handle tightly. The next moment, he was pressed against the wall and the knife was on the right side of his neck. “How about I try it on you first, my betrothed?” “Feel free to try. But when you fail, this knife will first taste your grandpa's blood, then yours.” Anger rose in her eyes, and the next moment, blood was flowing through the right side of his neck. She cut deep enough to severe an important blood vessel. “You should not have challenged me,” she sneered and stepped back, waiting for him to collapse. He simply smirked and brushed his finger along the deep wound on his neck. “Seems like you failed.” She watched the wound on his neck heal on its own and felt shocked to her bones. “You.. what are you?” “Guess?” ----- Instagram- mynovel.20 Facebook- Author mynoveltwenty

The Hidden King's Stolen Wife

When powerless, unfavoured Princess Soleia was arranged to marry the newly titled Duke Orion Elsher, she assumed they would find love eventually. Who knew that her father would send off her husband mere hours later to fight a war? Soleia was left alone to deal with an impoverished fief, a crumbling estate, and spiteful, vindictive relatives of the Duke who all wished to see her gone. She couldn’t leave― there was nowhere else to go. Soleia desperately wanted her husband to return so he could offer her a helping hand. However, when he did, he returned with Elowyn, a woman he claimed was his true love. A woman hellbent on taking her place as the rightful Duchess, no matter what she had to do to get Soleia out of the way. Mistreated, misunderstood, and miserable, Soleia was eventually thrown out of the estate she helped build. Fortunately, when one door closes, another one opens. Unknown to Soleia, a man more powerful than her husband had been watching her, waiting for the right time to snatch her into his gilded cage. Duke Elsher had been foolish to let go― but the crown prince of Raxuvia wouldn’t make the same mistake. *** [Excerpt] After two long years, Soleia's husband had finally returned home. But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.
