Ill follow my brother. This novel how should I say it has hinted on several occasion for a possible homosexual relationship between the two mc's. This is mearly a warning for such a possibility of such a relationship on the later chapter. You would not want for your invested spirit stone to go to waste as I do.

He is that way towards him not because of homossexuality tendencies, but because the only thing that avoided him from giving up on life before it all starded was the rejoice of reading the novel. And Yoo is the protag of said novel. It really isn't that 'disgusting' if you pay attention to the development of the story.

It is still kind of homophobic though, (novel storywise). I myself would also quit straight away when there is clear indication of gay sh*t. But the problem is the reviewer just made an assumption, it is more like bromance than BL. If anything it would end up with the MC having a OTP relationship with a certain female character, and having possible harem. At least that is what I can see reading up to ch132 (btw reviewer has ch0 progress in reading this novel).

You give it one star because of the homophobic of your. It's not fair. Charecters and world developments are cool. Release speed is considered fast. If it's not your cup of tea i think at least it should 3 star. And just wanna tell you there are many girl that possible be in his harem but you only focus on 'seem to be gay' relationship. I loss a word :(
Which book? The only other book that he has being translated is "the world after the fall" which is a cliche novel that is like a normal chinese novel except it is not about slaughtering a million people in a sect just because someone in the sect insulted him.
ottospens:the novel is not that bad but is true that theres tons of lgbt hints, also half of the costelations belive that the MC goes in that way and that have a love relationship with yoo. Btw the other novels of this author are all BL so.....
