A critical review here, coming from great books like the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones books) and Tom Clancy books, this webnovel has a good plot HOWEVER it lacks intricate details throughout the book. Its basically like reading a summary of a book or just reading the MOST important parts of a plot/story but you almost barely read parts about the day to day or the more deep details to flesh out its writing.

In short, its basically not too fleshed out in detail but the plot is good. However, it must be emphasized that it really lacks fleshing out. Like watching a compressed anime from a huge manga

Sadly I agree. I relied more in telling rather than showing and I am guilty of using dialogue as exposition. But then again, going through the entire plot thoroughly would extend the novel at least 300 more chapters and I don't have the energy for that. I cringe everytime I read earlier and even later chapters. Thank you. Really. Webnovels need more proper reviews to improve their quality.

Unique novel with romance + humor + kingdom building all in one. writing quality is superb really, with only occasional mistakes. Stability of updates - never missed a day. Story Development - one of the bests out there. Characters are not there only for plot and they are ALIVE. Character design - I've said about it already but all i will add is that nothing happens without reasons and characters act accordingly to the situation. World Background-is detailed, there is no "Oh yes there apparently exists super duper strong sect which will get crushed in few dozen chapters and our MC will clash with them in the next. because we need plot damn it!"

Although it is listed in the Fantasy genre, I haven't seen any hint of that yet. But as an historical /romance novel, its the best l have seen in a long while.

Great story, amazing writing. Great pace. Kingdom building looks promising. Romance is barely noticeable, which is exactly how I like it. World building is solid, but without any infodumps to bore the readers (but maybe we could get a chapter 0? Or a map of some sorts to help with immersion?)
