Review Detail of TACHYON in My Sister The Villainess

I have to say, this story scrached all the right spots: the author took several generic plot developments, some of whcih have been annoying me to no end as I kept seeing them repeatedly in stories of this and similar genres, and twisted them completely, making them hilarious and satisfying, especially if you have seen them more than you'd like. Although there was one scene at the end of the first chapter that was kept the way it usually plays out, it is somewhat important later on so I can overlook it. The style is very similar to that of other stories (which most of the time makes the protagnist sound like a petty tsundere), but, although not competely unique, the protagonist is still very refreshing and funny, just like the rest of the story. Another nice thing is that even if you hate POV changes, like me, in this story they truly add a new, fresh perspective as the protagonist's narration is very biased and ommits some thing, perhaps touching on if not being unreliable narration. As for other things, it is still too early to tell; both characters and worldbuilding will need some more space in the future.

Since you mentioned it, i'd just like to point out that the POV thing is something i'd already heard about from others. And i'll use this as an opportunity to let everyone who reads this review know what will be happening going forward: To start, some readers have said the POV changes can be confusing and jarring since its so early, and consecutive so the sudden shift from Damien's perspective to the prince and princess' make it awkward. And i somewhat agree so if you look here: https://***.scribblehub.com/series/2983/my-sister-the-villainess/ you'd see that i changed the chapters to side stories and from here on they will not be considered part of the main story. From now on the story will consist of short bursts of third person where i find it appropriate for setting up events, introducing characters, things of that nature. In addition it will largely remain first person from Damien's perspective. Dolly will get at least one POV in the main story, most probably more, and those will be chapters dedicated to her alone similar to how it was with the prince and princess originally. The side stories likely wont progress the main story much if at all, but will instead focus on the characters' views regarding others and some personal adventures or goals they may decide to work towards. But yes aside from Dolly i think anyone else would have their POVs listed as side stories. While i personally like how i have it currently here, i dont want readers to have any confusion due to the sudden shift in POV i mentioned. I do plan to change the chapters here at webnovel to match those at scribblehub later on a well. They'd be located in the auxiliary volume if anything, though, so they dont clutter the main story's table of contents.
