Highly Recommended. The first 5 or so chapters are super rough to get through when i read them I haven't gone back to see if they might have changed but they were difficult to understand and it didn't flow very well. But please don't let that put you off. After those it completely changes. I truly like the style of this writer. I feel it is much more romance than rapey like a lot of the other Romance novels on this site. The story is very interesting, the ML is actually super likable. no spoilers but some of the chapters made me cry so hard, There are only a few errors with spelling. over all an outstanding work I would recommend even if romance inst your preferred genre

Congratulations author! This is such an amazing book! A little bit fairytale, Chinese historical fantasy and a wonderful romance. I love the characters, not only the main ones, all have distinctive personalities and lively features. Brilliant strategies in the politics have not only once astonished me reading this book. Furthermore the colorful insight in court life in heaven and earth and the fantastic adventures of the divine ruler on the battlefield in addition to a heart warming picturing of family life make this book so entertaining and addicting to read! And the unconditional, transcendental love of the couples warms the heart and stirs a yearning and dreaming of equal treasure to hold.

Hi, Author here.. Shamelessly promoting the story... This is my first attempt in writing. I personally love chinese historical novels and this is one too. But this has both palace intrigues and some supernatural elements too and not historically accurate. The FL is a quirky, a bit overpowered and lovable character. The ML is supportive of the FL and has a dark past. Although the FL had her fate decided for her, this story is about how she tries to balance everything and how her family and friends support her in her journey too.. I would like to thank the author for this wonderful book. I don't know why gems like this one isn't given much attention in WN but it definitely is a good read. I'm still only at ch113 but I could say that if you love mysteries and OP FL then this is your cup of tea. I recommend that you give this one a try, the author also updates regularly. :)
