Review Detail of j_hopefull in The Wealthy Psychic Lady: 99 Stolen Kisses

I have read this novel up to chapter 192 and I have to say it is absolutely NOT my preference. Some would wonder why I read it so far if it wasn’t? That’s because I am possibly a hidden masochist!! 😠 I was really attracted with the whole “psychic” thing and hoping the MC was smart as the intro made her seemed to be. But what I found was that the novel was a TRAIN wreck!! I will give kudos to the author for actually writing, cause not many can do it, and if there were more KINDNESS/JUSTICE in this novel, I might not have complained as much. The concept seems interesting but needs a lot of improvement in the emotional aspect. Positives: Writing flow is decent, Updates are daily, Story doesn’t center on only one couple, MC does try to be independent (although not very successful, she tries?) Now for the Negatives (and I am trying to hold back here): Romance? Ha! If someone told me I would have any of the romance type indicated in this novel, I would shoot them then myself! The relationships in this novel are like a High school low budget drama series!! There is NO sweet and HEALTHY love in this novel!! The novel lacks mature feelings? The choices and feelings are more like two dimensional. You get cheaters, scum bag cheaters who murders their PREGNANT ex while current girlfriend accepts it, rapists, pedophiles, delusional rapists who forcefully take your blood to give to their would be wives while unwilling to let you go, rapists who tries to impregnate you and use their wealth to force you to stay with them, two faced lying bisexual with horrible family….as for the women, there are a lot of white lotus, two faced b*tches who some have even suffered but makes it very hard to sympathize with…..and of course there is NO justice given out in all this!! Some of the actions done by these men were known to others, NOTHING was still done by ANY of the families who supposedly found the actions wrong! Because these men are all wealthy, you only see them throw money to clean up the mess! None of them has yet seen jail sentencing!! 🤬 The scariest thing I found about this novel is that when you go to the post section to vent the hate for the actions some of characters has done, you slowly start to see some people hoping for this character or this other character to be the ML since he appears the LEAST objectionable! You have to understand that the one that was being promoted was a person who was AWARE that his buddy was abusing his current girlfriend in a very INHUMAN WAY! He saw it with his very own eyes and did NOTHING! How is this considered to be a good person?!?! 🤬🤬 All of the males in this novel are all wealthy who appears to dominate all the women and the women all seems to only care for men of wealth and end up suffering for it!! By writing this review, I am using it as a catharsis to help me break of the “bloody train wreck”! I stayed this long mostly trying to figure out what the author is trying to do (haven’t a clue), if the MC will do anything awesome with her abilities and if they are really using THAT guy as the ML. It got to the point that I can’t read it anymore. 😠 To read or not to read is everyone’s choice but I would NOT recommend this novel to anyone I cared about. Maybe there might be a miracle and the story will turn less disgusting but I won’t be around to find out. Good luck to all those who are still interested in reading.
