Review Detail of Criz3m in The Sole Skull

Predictable plot. Please, do prove me wrong, but after reading the 1st chapter, half of the plot was revealed. 1. Obviously, there is no way that they were all kidnapped to participate in the game. Thats way too many people so that means they all did it voluntarily. And the game might be broadcasted. 2. Why participate? Perhaps there is a huge amount of sum that can be won or something else to entice people to play a brutal game. (They get to keep their powers?) Perhaps they want to escape their everyday lives or escape from police who are looking for a serial killer. BUT our protagonist seems to be after something else (maybe to find out more about the organisation to destroy it or simply to have fun), because there is no way such an intelligent person would participate in such a game and be after things he probably already had before. (Money) I might be wrong, but this was the impression i got.
