First I like the story but then came the male mc. Wow he is super duper possessive of the female mc. The female mc is clueless of love which I understand if you read the backstory. But god damn she fall love to the possessive male mc fast. He basically force and manipulate her so she can fall in love to her. If you think about is stupid. Love take time. The male mc is stupid too, he falls in love to her hard and fast. Unbelievably. I hate the male mc because he is one of the reason that she died(original iris long). Then he loves her when he saw the new iris long. The story is really predictable and cliché. You can read the first chapter and last chapter and you will understand the whole story.

First of all, you can't manipulate someone into falling in love, it's something that happens with your subconscious consent... Secondly, he didn't kill her, he knew it was Fan Luo who cut the brakes of her car, but he was protecting her because he thought his brother loves her and she's his fiancee, we all know the original Iris was b*tchy, so he guessed she would make a scene if she found out, he was simply protecting his family, but now he feels guilty cause he misjudged her and he's trying really hard to get her to fall for him before he tells her because he's afraid to loose her. This novel is fictional, he was intrigued by her mysteriousness and wanted to get to know her, that's when he started falling in love with her, I don't think falling in love with someone after almost a year of knowing each other, I've read books were they fell in love after knowing each other for a month, so trust me when I say their feelings aren't rushed. Thirdly, the MC isn't weak, she's actually really far from weak, the fact that rebuilt her career from it's originally trashy stage to where she is now based on her own skills and without having to use the ML's name is proof enough that she isn't weak. This story is not and will never be one of the books I would tag as cliché because it isn't, there is no backstabbing, overly jealous, b*tchy ex bestfriend or sister or cousin, there is no cheating ex boyfriend who thinks the MC's world revolves around him, there is no evil step-mom, no brainless father and no rapist of an ML.

Ela basicamente esqueceu suas raízes, não importa cê ela agora é Íris Long até porquê antes de ser Íris, ela foi Eveline, ela só é brilhante como Íris Long porquê aprendeu como Eveline. E como assim a mente dela não pesa pela morte dos pais ou pela queda da facção que seus antepassados criaram lentamente e com muito esforço? Ela só lembra da mãe como ruim e ruim, mais quem aqui não lembra que tinha uma regra da máfia deles que os familiares que não contribuírem com alguma coisa na máfia são mortos ou jogados pra rua? Eveline viveu bem e bem como Eveline e como filha de seus pais, acho ela ingrata e ingrata. Não tenho nenhuma crítica, acho que esses pontos fortalecem mais o livro e deixa ele mais importante e Liwei, merda man, você é o pior. Lu Zihao ou Nikolai você é 10/1000 apesar de seus erros.
I don't know about everything you just said but I would like to correct one thing. People could actually be manipulated into falling in love. Take grooming for example, the minor is manipulated into thinking that the manipulator cares about him/her and so they 'fall in love.' Showing care, being there for someone, buying them gifts, all these could be done by people in love but a person who doesn't love you can use this same method to trick you into loving them. The ill intent behind their actions fuel their manipulation.
