okay its me again. Not going to trash this week novel though despite all the comments screaming rape. This is a typical face-slapping romance novel with a predictable plot and token evil stepmother + step-sister. However i have to admit the plot isnt as abusive as last week's female novel. The ML is off his rocker with jealousy and that's making him the typical rapey ML but other than that he hasn't really done anything emotionally abusive to the FL that's unforgivable in the long run. I haven't read the whole novel yet but i have faith the ML can make a comeback and get the girl.

As if rape isn't emotionally scaring enough... Jealousy is sweet in small doses but the problem is his overly aggressive jealousy. He is the male lead for F*ck sakes. If he's gonna end up with the girl, do you really want it to start with, he raped her?

yeah i agree completely but i swear my standards have significantly been lowered since i started reading on this site.... some of the past novels were emotionally painful to read... i also agree this is a copy of all the ****t_y romance tropes we've seen before but still!!! in the spirit of fairness i have to admit that its an okay read... if you turn off all logic and reasoning

nope, i commented in the novel chapters that i didnt like his behaviour but since this is not real life i'll assume the idiot FL will forgive him for some dumb reason and he'll work at making it up to her.

To each their own, I wouldn’t even call this ok, I say: ignoring rape, it’s below average but not the worst novel I’ve read by a long shot ( so many unreadable novels here. ) There are some gems on here though, you should try out “Lady Cultivator” Or my favorite novel with a FL here “Doomsday Wonderland”, lots of people skip it because it has no romance but I just love all of the unique powers in this novel- although if you’re not into shounen/action you should probably skip it. But if you wanna try a shounen-like novel with a female lead I totally recommend. As for Lady Cultivator, the FL doesn’t start very OP and her growth is slow compared to most cultivating FL but that’s what I like about it, it’s very different and also makes much more sense- I’m really sick of Mary Sue so.. I think the mc of LC has my favorite mc, she’s very believably level headed and kind at the same time.

i agree Lady cultivator is great. so is the new novel Coming of the Villain boss. It's so hard to find good novels on this site and the good ones even often end up on random hiatuses...

I’ve read a few good novels here that were devoid of rape and sexual abuse but, for some reason, their ratings are not good. On the other hand, these trashy rape novels dominate the top 50-100.

I agree totally with that. I have to go through the bottom of the list to find ot. Although i came here when someone suggested me that the ML is possessive, but after reading all the comments i am having second thoughts....

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how disgusting. another obnoxious, abusive, unwise lil ****en **** of a ML. the moment he decided to rape the MC, i was done with this novel. honestly, how many times has this happened in other novels? do authors not learn? rape is not okay in any shape or form and yet look. look at all the novels involving the MC getting raped and later having her heart captured by her damn rapist. what kind of moral message are you fucking sending out there, authors? it doesnt matter if the ML was hurt before. how can that compare...to the psychological abuse caused by rape? i hate him. what a disgusting excuse of a human being. you know its okay if mistakes are made but how can this be a mistake when: 1) he never listened to anything she said 2) he believed all of those rumours over her words 3) he fucking raped her and even DARED to say that this was nothing compared to the pain he felt. I don't know if it's just a trend among novels for there to be arrogant, tyrannical, and conceited Male leads, but about 80% of the novels I read all have these kind of Male leads. At first, I found it sickening to read about scenes where the girl is r***d to the point of unconsciousness, that I would have to stop myself from throwing my phone at the wall and punching it. Now, I find so frustrating to the point where I can't even stomach reading it. As soon as it comes to a r**e scene, I automatically stop reading it. What I find even crazier is that the female lead in all the novels I've read, still falls in love with their rapist. I know love can blind a person, but no to this extent. In the synopsis, it should mention the girl being r***d, so that way readers already have a heads up of what they're getting themselves into. To be honest, I'm still slightly interested in the novel, just so I can see the extent of what the female lead is willing to go through to get her revenge, even if it means destroying her mind and body in the process.

Soooo hmmmm... If you want to know how this story going.... It's just the same literally.... Fighting the whole family... Weak father can't take care of his daughter his second wife effecting his design.... The ML is strong but stupid... He believed rumors about his own lover without investigating it aaaaaannnnnd he raped her for God's sake. The FL like always want a revenge you know like other Chinese novels okay so she is now a strong woman lalalala so the way her family talk to her and humiliate her its just the same as other novels... the last chapter I read was when the FL attending her grandma birthday (her grandma hate her) and she was proving that she bought a very expensive present cause a women was saying that she bought it so yeah you get what I mean don't waste your time it's just the same plot a tiny little bit different from other novels
