I avoided this for months because I thought it was another cheesy love story. Author Moon has proven me wrong, though. Unlike other transmigration stories I have come across in Webnovel, "Accidentally Married a Fox God" accurately portrays the feelings and bewilderment of a 21st century millennial office girl suddenly transported into a fantasy world devoid of the modern conveniences and social rules she is accustomed to. The reader is drawn into her very relatable struggles, as she makes sense out of what has happened to her, then figures out how to survive in this strange world. Heroine Li Meirong is as real as one can get. She has no superpowers or special abilities, only her wits and common sense to use her modern knowledge to get by. One can't help but worry, cringe, and cheer with every hurdle she faces. Based on and inspired by traditional East Asian folklore -- the kitsune of Japan and huli jing of China -- this story paints a dream world filled with shimmering landscapes, fantastic beasts, and celestial beings, brought to life even more with the scents and flavors of Asian spices and cuisine. These provide a beautiful backdrop against which Li Meirong's journey of self-discovery unfolds. How she learns and grows in strength and knowledge despite her incongruity, is my favorite part of the story. How she falls in love (and discovers the truth regarding her destiny in this world) is but the icing on the cake! Very well written with few technical or grammatical errors, this novel deserves a place in legitimate literature and anime. It is at par with other, established novels. Plot and build up is very well paced, with skillful use of literary devices such as foreshadowing and symbolic references. Characters, even the villains and side cast, are alive and very relatable. Cliché tropes are minimal. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I originally thought that since this is an original, it would be like the other ones I had read, cheesy and overly influenced by the translated novels. But this novel is something else. It has its own story, characters, and I am loving the plot like crazy!! It’s the first original story I’ve spent spirit stones on, and i don’t regret it one bit. At this point, I’m only up to chapter 93, but I will slowly save up my spirit stones again!! Thank you, author, for writing such a dedicated and outstanding novel!!

Overall good novel. Sometimes lengthy explanations of terms do not translate well, such as cultivation. However, this doesn't take away from the story being told, in fact in enhances it because the protagonist doesn't understand half the time either. This makes her extremely relatable. The pacing is SUPERB in this despite some others disagreeing, the slow burn of the male lead not always being the center of the story is refreshing for a romance. Speaking of characters, the two main protagonists are nicely fleshed out, neither one compromising their personalities simply for the author to progress the story. The universe is fleshed out nicely without going into too much detail, which I find actually let's my mind fill in the gaps with imagination. Author is skilled at having many subplots at once while being able to juggle and not confuse readers. Very well written indeed.

It is a good story.. Please keep on writing this novel until the end. Don't give up easily on this. Know that your story is worthy to read. I love it. Don't stop this novel halfway just because there is not enough rating or reader. I will support as much as i can. Good luck.

Normally I’d avoid reading new stories because it can take a while to get into the story but I couldn’t help it, this story is hilarious 😂 The mc is strong willed but not arrogant and actually gets stronger through the story rather than starting strong with no real growth it’s great 😍

This story is fantastic! not only do you get a independent protagonist that is beautiful inside and out who asserts her independent, intelligent nature and mothering spirit but a sexy and determined charismatic male lead 😎 who is a fox 🦊. Which effortlessly adds a colorful contrast to the female lead🐰. A wonderful dialogue with every chapter filled with comic reliefs, drama, sexy hot 💋😍😛🔥💕scenes and a good deal of male prospective. There is a lot of character development as well as adventure! I would recommend you read this story because it is that good and worth the wait for the chapters. Tho the wait is not long considering the chapter turn out is quite frequent!

This is the book that finally pushed me into premium webnovel... I just couldn't wait to unlock the next chapter! The characters are fun without being cliche. The female isn't completely helpless and the male lead isn't all powerful. I love the world setting out author has put together, she's going for a true fantasy setting with magic/cultivation rules of her own. There's so much that makes me laugh every chapter! It's not face-slapping/revenge chapter by chapter, it's a flowing story, which leaves you wondering what is coming next. Updates aren't scheduled, but there's usually 3-5/week. It's worth the wait.

I love the story, the charictors are fun and unique as is the progression of the story, honestly I love romance books and adventure novels where the character grows. I could name so many books where either there is an. Amazing system and action but fail to use the romance to its full potential and vise vercia, this book on the other hand uses both so well I can't decide if Its romance or action, it's well written and in no way cheesy at all, it's slow going but as it is action, adventure, romance, and comedy all in one the pace is still great. 10/10 have already read again.
