To be honest, I have no idea why this is rated so high. It's basically a normal cultivation fic disguised as a DB fanfic. The writing quality is fine, it isn't ground-breaking or anything, though one thing I did notice is the pacing of the first ten chapters(I haven't read past that point), which is incredibly off. And when I said incredibly, I do mean it.
In 7 chapters, the author gave us two time-skips and some vague lines about MC merging his seperate personalities, we never got an explanation as to how his personalities got so ****ed up or how me merged the three, we're just supposed to believe some dude with no training somehow managed to fix his mental problems all by himself. If you watch DB, you'll know that Broly's anger problem is not something easily fixed.
OG Broly has got decades to mellow out his personality in DB: Super Broly and he still wasn't able to snap out of his enraged state, then how much chance does a normal guy from Earth stand? And MC's personality is just horrid. It's like the author can't decide between ruthless and indifferent, explosive and stupid, or childish and naive so he just gave MC traits of all three.
In the first few chapters, when Planet Vegeta is being destroyed, apparently it ripped reality apart and sent MC to fucking cloud-dimension or some ****(At this point, I realised I'd been duped into reading another one of those cultivation disguised as DB fic), but I thought 'Hey, let's keep reading, who knows? The author might just surprise me by subverting my expectations'. Spoiler: He didn't.
So around seven chapters in, we're introduced to Gine- Goku's mother, who's supposed to be dead as established in DBS: Broly(There were only around six to seven survivors of Planet Vegeta), but whatever I guess. It's an alternate universe, who cares. Then came the city, which has a 'City Lord', which makes no sense because he's said to be the strongest on the planet, why the hell would he be a city lord?
And why hasn't Frieza killed him yet. Guy has got 50 millions PL. Given enough time he can be a real threat to Frieza's reign and given Frieza's personality, I doubt he'd let such a threat be. And talking about threats, how did the saiyans survive? Frieza is not one to do stuff half-hearted, if he knew they were alive, he'd have murdered them all. And don't give me that bull**** about them escaping in middle of the explosion, that's bull**** and you know it.
And our endearing MC. Why is he so weak? Broly has always been OP, he has no Godly training, no God Ki and he fucking kicked SSGB Goku and Vegeta's asses. Even non-canon Broly was able to completely fucking decimate four Super Saiyans and a Super Namekian and he was purposely supressed by his father with a mind-control device and I'm supposed to believe he got bitten by a wolf?
And your logic makes no sense. You use Roshi and Krillin as examples for gravity training, but didn't take into factor that the Saiyan race was so powerful because of their high gravity world. It's literally stated repeatedly throughout the anime and the official guidebook. And then there's the energy crystal, and before we know it Broly is going to meditate for years like a fucking hermit to absorb herbs and ****. Wtf? I'm here to read about DB, not some ****ty cultivation fics. If I want that, I'd go pick one somewhere else.
And wtf is up with chinese and their obsession with calling themselves 'father'? I don't know about chinese, but that's not a legitimate insult in English, and it makes you sound retarded. Don't even get me started with that lack of description. I came here to see hard Power-Leveling, MC using training method he remembered from his past life, but that also doesn't work out because of nerf and ****.
I was promised a DB fic, instead I got a generic chinese cultivation fic that disregarded many of DB laws, has logic that makes no sense and OP MC who's nerfed for plot's sake. It's just fucking disappointing mate.
