[Shameless self-plug v2.0 - Rewritten review] Could be better. Lots of overused grammar. Some mistakes here and there, and the plot is meh. It’s a story about how an innocent and weak girl got corrupted and made into a black-bellied white lotus. She hated herself for being useless, so she... ... . The male leads are hardworking, but their efforts doesn’t translate to the result they want. Being victims of domestic violence, they are subconsciously under the impression that their father was an insurmountable obstacle to their happiness, so they make all sorts of plans to skirt around him instead of facing him straight. Because they wasted so much time, bad things happened. The supporting leads are caring, but they hardly interfered with what was happening with the main leads. Can’t blame them; they’re pretty much kept in the dark until all hells broke loose. The adults are pretty much absent, if not useless. There are some caring ones, like the teachers, but realistically, there are not a lot of teachers who would go above and beyond in order to take care of their students, and this might cause a lot of people to get frustrated—but alas. Life goes on, our heroine is doing better than ever, but unfortunately, she’s lost a few screws along the way. Oops? If you read this review until this point, then thanks for reading.
