I don't know why people actually thinks this is one of the best novels. From time to time I try to read because of boredom, but rage gets me every time. Rape. Stockholm syndrom. Another rape, justified because the man was angry because the girl mentioned the other rapist's name (Stockholm syndrom) while she was unconcious. This guy even brougth her to his family's place only for that **** to unfold. She was having a trauma, and he raped her. I wonder why people are reading this and even finding the romance. The MC doesn't even have personality.

Yeah! This story is extremely annoying. Plot line is messy and main characters are brainless idiots.

I wish I could give your review more likes. I have since dropped this “novel” because it is simply bogus and seriously tests my patience and sanity as well as my intelligence. & I have to wonder about the mental state of all these die hard fans who continue to support such rubbish. In a way, I feel sorry for them because they are like the MC - indecisive, whimsical, regressive and just as much of a train wreck as the psychotic male “leads” of this trash story. The author who wrote this is a hateful person perhaps due to her own trauma but I’m not sympathetic in the least because there is nothing redeeming about ANY of her characters!! Not one !!

Mr Pei Ziheng and his and multiple torture and rape scenes did go to far in this book. I feel if your are going to have a raped character you shouldn't write so much of it, too many lines were crossed which is why she has PTSD like all the war veterans do.

Yes, I though this story was going to be empowering because of everything that she went though, but no, just more misery.

I tried to read but after reading till 400 I dropped it. The fl really is stupid and she question herself if she was doing wrong for hurting pie Zheng. Like seriously she also know how much pie Zheng hurt her. And she exposed herself to pie Zheng instead of ml.. This novel doesn't deserve any appreciation cause this is the worst novel ever.. I've read.
