it can't really be considered r*pe because the author doesn't want to out it as that and lose low-iq readers because the word "rape" is bad but saying "her body ached and she felt only pain and hated it" is completely okay. author doesn't wanna admit rape and avoids painting it as outright rape for this reason lmao honestly. I've been disgusted by the r*pe scenes sine the beginning. nothing can excuse it and the small acts of face slapping, "reflection" done by the ml, and small acts of kindness from the ml do not soften, justify, or erase the godawful crap the ml has done. even worse is the fact that all this has happened within less than month in-story

I'm going, to be brutally honest, the ML is looking trashy as hell so far if you are holding grudges, you don't legally rape your wife and treat her like **** all the time. That's not really the solution to your years of emotional trauma, why not try therapy instead??? Tbh I'm getting pretty sick of these QI romance novels, it was interesting at first but now i dont see why these girls are forced into such extreme situations just because of a man. I'm not falling for the "he's a bit tsundere" or "they have history" crap because the way these MLs get back at these women lays the worst foundation for a potenial romance EVER. and yet people in the comments are super excited and fangirl over tiny acts of kindness from the ML even though he just treated the FL like **** a little while ago... ugh... and dont even get me started on the female love rivals!!! They are so 2 dimensional that by now I can accurately predict the pattern of their actions based on basic tropes. I could finish this novel myself okaayyyyy!!!! Thats how predictable the plot is!!!

I cannot take this novel seriously. The story lacks depth, cannot connect with any of the characters. Everything is cliche just put together. The characters are all stupid, every single one of them. I mean if you see someone who you've been in love with and spent a considerable amount of time together and he/she doesn't recognise you, won't a normal person just ask them why they've forgotten, what happened, etc etc., not start plotting revenge against them. Sheessh talk about petty! Also the FL is just incredibly wishy washy. She goes "He did it for me, he likes me, wait he doesn't like me after all, I'm sad" x1000 times

Sorry, but this novel just makes me so angry. The ML is a rapist and complete trash to women. This goes beyond being cold-hearted and just makes him to be an ass. The FL is a doormat and so easy to see him in another light for the smallest kindness. I'm dropping this just for that.

I didn't really like the male lead at first but later I realise that keeping grudges against one hinders one from experiencing the love that is right before one. He's angry about something she did which she doesn't even remember. If only he used communication and compromise to solve the issue instead of treating her wrongly.

What a stupid story.. a misunderstanding dragging from 1 chapters till now. A very hateful ones, the stupidest couple ever!!!! Simple misunderstanding that can be settle if the stupid ML did his investigation. Didn’t you had all the resources to know what exactly happen to her 8 years a go.. never I had ever found the ML stupid like him.
