I like the characters and I think the story flows well. I don't think think the post apocalyptic scenario is believable in this setting. So humanity just kept fighting until only a few a hundred million people were left? We didn't stop at a quarter of the world population, or at half. It wouldn't take anywhere near that for all the governments to shut down and create chaos. Anyway I dwelt on the one point too long. There is a lot of wit in your writing. I'll definitely keep reading.

I deliberately left the backstory vague so I don't have to explain much. I imagine it goes something like. - 25%-30% of Earth's population is killed out by the attacks. - EMP knocks down most electrical system. No emergency services. No electricity. No running water. No shipping of food. People (especially in developed countries and urban areas) kill each other for food and other necessities. - Governments collapse. Gang wars. Looting. Killing, R*ping. - People die of hunger, thirst, diseases. Not having soap or antibiotic or boiled water will screw you over. Hard. - Nuclear reactors go critical, releasing MORE radiation into the air. - Chaos, anarchy, more deaths, etc etc. - When people finally get their sh*t together and get organized, the mutated creatures show up. The initial war only last for a couple days, but once the ball got rolling, it didn't stop. Thanks for your support. Have a nice day :)
