Tldr: good book, try it, but I recommend you wait for updates after chapter 88 before waisting your points/stones/fast pass on a book that is receiving no new chapers at the moment. And here is a longer review. This book is really really really good. It was a book I was looking forward to seeing every week/everyday when it was translated of Quidan. Rant at the end of the review. If you are only a tiny bit interested in the premise of the small story that defines everything and the first few chapters I highly recommend you read this book. This is a brilliant story of adventures, self discovery as well as companionship. The team of characters you are introduced to in this story are really intriguing and endearing. Their is a balanced mix of goofiness and steady individuals which make for a real stable cast that bounce of one an other really well. Good humour helps keeping this glued too. At this point in the story we had a glimpse of the potential of the MC and his team and, we've been introduced the darkness that is sure to come hunting them down later in the story. This provides a sens of urgency to the MC and his crew to get stronger, while at the same time being such an overwhelmingly far danger that it does not suffocate the story. Speaking of the story, the pacing is really good. It got the good mix of slow moments, with the blood pumping rush of danger in some others. You don't get bored is what I'm saying. Also, it's a very different take to the isekai genre in my opinion. Where the guy usually get taken in a descent situation and can learn, here the MC is thrown directly into the deep end forcing him to evolve himself and rize up to the challenge. I really like this book. Give it a try. A realm shame it's pay walled so early in the story. I can't judge the translation quality up to this point (ch88), since I won't pay to read again something I already read for free, wich is why I will rate it 3. But for update frequency... oh boy, HERE COME THE RANT, I have yet to see an update to the chapter count for 3 weeks... And surprisingly it stopped just when it got the end of the free already translated chapters outside of Webnovel... I will GLADLY update this review if it gets better. Tldr : It's a good book try it. But wait for new chapters first, no point wasting your point on a story that won't see the end of the translation.

While I agree with you for the most part. I would just like to point out that it's been less than 2 weeks since a huge 20 chapter update, and the translator still hasn't caught up to Zeroth's translation.

2 weeks only? I am that out of touch with the flow of time? Yeah I know zeroth got 1 or 2 chapter further, which is why, to me, this point still stand. And as I said at the end. If the translator can prove me wrong I will delete that review right away and write a new one. Because I believe this book is worth a good review. I'm just waiting for the next chapters.

Well, the average is still 7 chapters/week, so it's most likely that the translator just released the chapters early for some reason. Also, if you include the missing chapter that Zeroth translated then I think the translator is 3 chapters behind. I can't really complain though, I read Qidian novels for free from Qidian underground or aggregate sites. Since I refuse to support Qidian International after they started to ruin the novel fan translation community, i.e. Zeroth probably would have finished this novel already if Qidian hadn't gone behind his back and purchased the rights for it.

From a legal point of view, vhe didn't have any right to it. But I agree quidan way of doing it was scummy.
