Literally main character is such a moron, doesn't want to change story at all and watches as his girls suffer and their families die off. As of chapter 18: He watched Erza get taken away to the tower as a slave where she'll suffer for years and lose eye as a punishment for attempted escape.. He watched Mira,Lisana and Elfman lose their parents. He watched Levy's grandmother die even after he said that he accepted her as his grandparent too. He was also "devastated" yet did nothing. All of these just shows how little he cares about any of the girls he wants to be his. He should've changed their story, saved them when they needed saving. Why do they need to be as strong as in canon? There are also other ways to train them, it isn't impossible for someone to have a hellish training without actually having their families die to get strong. Biggest problem for author is to actually be there when they are kids, if he actually made the MC start where story started in the anime, he wouldn't actually watch everything happen in cold blood just to have his story follow canon.

And the most important Fact Is this Story is NTR, and a severe one at that, he can go back to any year in the past but he purposefully choose the time when irene belserion is already preg nant with someone else, WTH then mc still choose to pursue her by saving her and all that foolish stuff
