Unfortunately can't bring myself to like this, I tried but it just isn't doing it for me. I'm not feeling anything from what I'm reading so far and without the horror factor, it's really not a top tier novel. To the point I've read from the start, it has yet to grab my attention and give me that "I want to keep on reading" feeling. It doesn't help that I'm tired of these "XXX Manager" type of novels such as Gourmet of Another World and Black Tech Cafe. They're not bad per say, just not my type of novels. Barely got to 300 chapters for the previous ones, only because I like food and games. Horror though I have no interest in, and even if I did, I'm not getting any thrills like other people claim to have. Felt more eerieness from certain moments in Lord of the Mysteries than anything I've read so far in this one. I'm not undermining the author and translator's effort, I'm sure for the people who got hooked in the first place, this is a wonderful novel. Not my cup of tea though, and I figured I'd leave my view point in this sea of spammed 5 star reviews by the same accounts.

lol try listening to black firday song mentioned in this novel. its referenced from hugerian song glommy sunday. just listen to it and read the novel you will feel all the chills in the world. its available in youtube. its true horror mate if you get the references and read at night.
TheNobleLion:That's fair, like I mentioned, for people who like horror I'm sure this is a great novel. I'm just not a horror genre fan, it doesn't give me any kicks. By bots, I mean the people who spam "EXP" and "Thanks" with 5 star reviews multiple times on the same novel because they are actually not too different from bots. This happens with every novel though so it's not exclusive to this one. I actually don't like My Vampire System for various reasons. In terms of writing a logical novel, this one is leagues ahead of My Vampire System, but again, horror is (unfortunately) not something I enjoy or get a thrill from.
Well i am biased about this novel cause it gave me taste of horror in a novel .its a feeling i never felt before. It might not be to your liking but definitely this novel is very well recieved either here or on novelupdates 4.6 rating for novel in bovelupdates is very high rating almost at the top only second to lord of mysteries (4.7) for male mc novels excluding yaoi And its rating system is dependable not like webnovel The author is chinese a translator is translating this so No these people are not bots unlike orginal novels here. The trashy My vampire system might be to your taste though if you cant appreciate this or maybe you are not fan of horror.
