I honestly think the book has potential, but it’s held back mainly by one principle. Show, don’t tell. What you do is show, and then tell. For instance show how the MC feels about the past love by using emotions when she shows up. Don’t do that, then also tell us β€œoh yeah her, I hate her ass, she cheated on me.”
