from the description, the plot sounds really similar to "The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage"... does the similarity end there? has anyone read both?

It has similarities with the circumstances from Shen Family’s execution, death of loyal servants, douche of a husband prince, prince aiming for the MC’s family army, slut of a cousin who wants the prince and finding out the truth before death. But that’s it. Nothing else. But the general atmosphere of the story is too light & fluff compared to Empress Shen’s. The MC is a little bit childish and playful with her servants/grandpa/male lead/familiar. It was also mentioned she was an Empress too but she lacks the aura of one. .-.

Ooh did the original complete already. I read it for a long time but stoped in the middle and I am quite afraid yo go any front. I don't like if there is a sad ending and I am afraid that it may end badly. I want to continue reading it at the same time not. Hhaaaa🤷♀️🤐.

I think the ending will be a happy one (because with all the misfortune and hardship she experienced perviously, and the positive direction of the story after) but even if it's ambiguous or such, the quality of the story and translation makes it worth it😋

I haven't read that many novels but here are the ones that comes to mind: "The Enchantress of Medicine, with the Heaven Defying Child, and the Black Belly Father" and "Genius Doctor: Black Belly Miss". I think they have similar genres... if not, they are still very interesting reads!
