Hate to tell it to you but that's literally the fuel for humankind, Greed and personal gain, its the reseaon why we get up in the morning to go to work and do a good job so we get promoted, to get more money for your personal gain, if you don't understand this ****** point I suggest you look at history and our society as of now, otherwise you will be very confused when it comes to Chinese novels

The right question is more "why the wole of this world felow the system-rule and name of china ?" Like the system of tier-level-city, chinese name for everyone, better college off all by in a chinese name, systeme-cast in a chinese way, and aaaaaaaall the other world-building and in overall ; all the backround in the chinese way ? The world-base is something like "the wole world have create a united-federal system, no ? But no anglicism, no anglish name, no occidental name ? Bul**** !!! All the story scream "china is sooo much better than everyone" and "my own city is the most cool and daring in the world" and another bul****-like narowminded way of thinking. All the story is like that in fact. Like "i have the right to kill people, but other people killing are trash" and other scamming-scum way of main-character creation, and forcefull plot. Well, like almost all the xuanxua, after all ... but i have nothing better to read in this time so, why not ?
