Extremely fast-paced story that unfortunately does not contain enough to detail to flow easily. Going from Genin test to C-rank in one day? Characters are not written as I would expect their canon selves to act.

Of course not it's a fanfic please stop trying to apply such constraints when the whole point of this is to let the author's imagination run wild in the world of naruto. Plus this is much more reasonable than most other fanfics.

I agree. If people are expecting characters to be written as their canon selves then go read/watch the original canon not this fanfiction. Fanfiction means that author has ******* to write or change anything he wants as long as the novel is enjoyable. Please enjoy the novel and don't nit pick about these small problems.
