You know the base of the story is great but it feels like he’s trying to put to many pieces from to many different puzzles and then make it fit I like the story but it is insanely complex

Well in some way it should be. The story is based on my real life experience about my first online forum role play. In those communities every character is either some edge lord or a chosen one. They either have a tragic backstory or they are from an ancient noble family. You can think of each character being the protagonist of a book or an anime. I wanted to also include that in my story but from your reaction I guess it would be too much. That's why I think I will tone it down a little in the future characters I introduce. Even though they will have somewhat complex backgrounds I will try to not let them influence the main story much. Anyway your review really helped and as the author I promise that I will try to tone down the complexity a little.
I love your book don’t get me wrong and as someone with similar experiences I fully understand that doesn’t make your book bad just harder to follow and if we’re being honest I have similar problems in my writings the best way to balance it I find is to more subtly introduce things but once again good pace good story
