Review Detail of CHARz1e_Char in Return

After reading the whole novel, I have to say I liked the story. If you read any of the author's other stories she definitely has a type for the main characters. The writing flows nicely, and chapters with sex scenes, blood and Gore, or violence are marked (until the last 10 or so chapters) so you can skip them if you would like without missing anything for story development. The story is recapped in the flowing chapter within a few words or sentences. It's a story with Fae as the main supernatural force but other supernatural monsters are included in the story. The female lead is kind-hearted, and has some strength to her. She doesn't seem to be over powering in character, language, or in ability (save for a few chapters but has repercussions for being overpowered). The male lead is overpowered, possessive/protective, but doesn't force the female lead into a sexual relationship. This definitely wasn't my favourite male lead that the author has created in her stories (currently she has three published). There are a few humorous chapters, but it's mainly focused on romance and action between the male lead and the bad guy. I definitely liked the horror chapters best but that's personal preference. Overall, it's a good read as I've stayed up a few nights reading past midnight, however, I felt the last 10 or so chapters weren't really needed. It felt like the author wanted to stop but also didn't at the same time leaving me feeling like I was dragging through them which was the first time I felt that for the whole book. The book is finished but left open enough in case the author wants to explore again with these characters or world.
