I managed to read a lot of this stuff. In short, I liked it for 200 or 300 chapters, there were some MAJOR mistakes the protagonist does due to the author simply not comprehending that giving a massive percentage of your company that you will devote rest of your multi-century life to, to a greedy family that's never done **** for you, is absolutely ridiculous. No amount of pocket change changes that. And there being global laws that prevent business owners from owning more than a 49% share of their own company is even worse. Giving the remaining shares up to that to mostly some random individuals installed by an intergalactic megacorporation to spy on you actually for free (no pocket change this time) is absolutely absurd. The guy basically ran his company straight into the ground because of draconian laws that dictate that there will be no running a company any other way than into the ground, and yet the company seems just fine and he somehow retains more or less full control over it despite not actually having that control on paper In fact the company doesn't even need him, like 300 chapters in he gets shipped off to a war where he dawldes aronud for the remainder of the currently written content. It's been like 400 chapters of this terribly boring war arc (actually more than the mech design and company management arcs at the start...) but not even 400 days have actually passed. The ratio of chapters to in-story days is higher than 1! that should never happen! The worldbuilding is relatively thought out, the characters are passable, the storyline is also passable, but the pacing is just the absolute worst I have ever seen. I was bored of this war arc just 3 chapters into it, and I've suffered over a hundred times that in hopes of the author getting back to the good stuff. But the author does not seem to have any intention of doing so. At least not within the next 400 chapters anyways. I could forgive the author/protagonsit making completely moronic business decisions and acting like it was smart or somehow noble and not actually just completely stupid. I could even tolerate how he writes in 5000 lap circles about the artistic beauty of mech design everytime the guy works on anything (I mean the author is so passionate about this you might think he actually is the protagonist) but what I can not tolerate is a boring arc that's drawn out over more chapters than all the half-decent content that came before it.
