Just like everyone else, I was a bit skeptical when I've read the summary, but I tried giving it a chance and oh boy, I didn't expect the story to flow that smoothly. People say it was a bit similar to BNNH or Perfect Secret Love, but you can take my word for this, it might have started similarly but all my frustrations from those two books and what I would have wished to happen to the leads (like clearing all the misunderstandings right off the bat, like I clearly had enough, stop) this book perfectly dealt with them. [Spoiler alert] I cant get enough so I tried reading the raws. I'm currently on Ch 400+ and had been eating dog food left and right (and had been for almost 300 chapters now, just imagine how fast their relationship progressed). AND LET ME TELL YOU ALL, LI SI CHENG IS ONE OF THE MOST DOTING HUSBAND I'VE EVER COME ACROSS IN ALL THE NOVELS IVE READ. Just imagining how he came from super cold to super loving I can't even fathom how faithful he was to Qianci, and how deep his love for her is. BOTTOMLINE IS: Give this book a chance. If you want face slapping and not overdragged misunderstandings, this book might be good for you. Okay that's all, Imma go back to eating dog food again. 😂😂❤❤

i can't trust you because the misunderstandings are already over dragged. Your entire summary is a big fat lie for what is currently published so far. The second we think their relationship will progress its back to the same as the very first chapter. Everyone who gives this 5 stars are the same people who enjoy all the other romance novels where the female lead gets raped and abused every day for 1000 chapters for the male lead to magically be like oh i do love you and than she magically forgives him for all the abuse
I'm sorry if that's how you felt reading this novel, but this is my opinion. And I read the novel in one sitting so I honestly did not feel it was dragging at all. I figured out after waiting for updates daily that it really is frustrating if you try to wait for a few short chapters everyday, it does feel dragging. But if you happened to read it in one go, I bet you wouldn't feel it at all (like how I did). And the chapters are too short which doesn't help with the wait at all. I'm not telling you to trust me, but this recent misunderstanding is gonna be the last ever for this novel. But well, I can't expect everyone to be patient, it really is frustrating to wait for chapters. And when I wrote that review, I was only at around 400 chapters, now that I finished their story, I loved it even more. Well that's just my opinion.

thank you, if you didn't reply id probably stop after this chapter because like you said, the chapters are soooooo short and to me it feels like ages. Thanks, i hope it is because i can't take anymore. Honestly i have been cheering for them to divorce because I'm so sick of how they are still together after all these misunderstandings and how she sulks when she has the divorce papers in her hands and enough evidence to make a judge get rid of the one year agreement

Hahaha no problem. Actually, when I tried to reread this review of mine from months ago, I also felt that people currently reading this novel might feel this is a bit exaggerated because when I wrote this review, I might have been on adrenaline after reading the raws lol and readers might not feel what I meant due to the short chapters. And me waiting for updates daily too like all of you can understand your frustrations. If you're having a hard time taking these recent events, I suggest you leave this for a while first and stock chapters so that you won't feel the drag. I'm actually surprised you all can patiently wait for updates everyday like this, I'm pretty impatient myself that's why I read raws hahaha. 😁😁

its not that I'm patient but i invested so many stones into this that i have to keep reading and since the cliffhangers are so strong i need to read the next chapter right away
