You can use it for surveillance and maybe get a few ancient knowledge from them I mean rocks are pretty much ancient it should have witness lots of stuff since forever

It would be pretty funny if you make him ask rock for info while he is with others thus making him look like a mad man

You can maybe gather a lot more sand and rocks and fuse them together to maybe make a rock golem. With different minerals come different properties. Like iron golem, glass golem,etc.
