look i'm not going to lie, i haven't started reading this yet. i've seen all the positive reviews and my expectations are above average. However before i dive in i just want to get this off my chest... if there's even an inkling of the mc introducing guns i'm out... i'm so F***king tired of novels where the mc solves all confrontational problems with the all mighty gun deciding that it's a smart idea to bring one cluster-f**k of a developmental mistake (just look at America, Iraq and all that) into another world to mass produce. Frankly if i were brought to another world you can be damn well sure that i will be avoiding creating an Earth 2.0 (global warming, terrorism, human related extinction and all that s**t) there is so much we could take to another world that works out better for everyone but it falls back to the same old same old. Anyway i apologise MR Author-san for using your novel as my rant page. i guess you can take away from all this is that i have high hopes for what i'm about to start reading, don't let me down Author.

now i know that i said all that but literally seconds after writing that i looked at the cover art closely and i'm really embarrassed to say that i'm already starting to worry that weapons of war (guns) are implemented in the 'other world'. i had a peak at the glossary and the worry is real. this just goes to show how excited i am. just in-case you don't know, i spend my time scouring this website in search of interesting novels to read and this happened to catch my eye. please be good...

I'm glad that the novel looks interesting to you. The thing about guns is that Jack's a former soldier, so he knows how to use them. Spoiler: He will combine magic and science to make a makeshift rifle, but it will only work on low levels of cultivation. It will only be viable in the first 2 volumes of the novel, and a part of volume 3.

Hey guys, author here. This novel will start out with Xianxia, but there will be elements of Fantasy throughout it. Later on Science Fiction will also be added. The MC will not have a cheat like skill, everything he does will be doable by any other character. The only advantage the MC will have is his life experience, and the knowledge he brings with him from Earth. I hope everyone enjoys it. New chapters coming soon.

This story is so high quality, I feel a little awkward reading it here for free. This can easily be sold as a book. It shows a xianxia world where strength is everything and cultivators treat normal people like dirt. It's quite gritty and dark at times, specially at the beggining, but after +100 chapter I think it's more apt to call it 'realistic'. The story and its characters were built with care and a lot of work, and it shows. All in all, highly recommended to any who can stomach it.

I like it! It may be slow in the beginning, but you find a really good novel if you read past the 'mortal' life in which our mc find himself unbearable weak. Not to say this part is not good, but our mc sure doesn't find himself in the best of spots. Something I'm sure the author does to show us the barbaric ways of this new world. But I sure recommend people try it 👍
