The writing is good but there large amounts of plot holes scattered everywhere. Most of the characters don't seem that well thought out and do things that no sense. I will say that the main character is a semi decent character however (still has senseless actions). Apologies, but I can't get invested in a novel like this so I'm dropping it.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I have tried to be careful of any plotholes, so if you can tell me here, specific chapter or in some type of direct message of the plotholes that you found, I think it could help with my writing a lot. I am sad to have lost you as a reader, but I know that no story can appeal to everyone :) If you do have the time to at least point out my holes, I would deeply appreciate it.

I believe venue doesn’t know the meaning of pothole, I didn’t see what he is talking about. He could at least reply to the author’s question so we can see what he is talking about. Some people are there just to drop down the ratings

For the most part, the plot holes are mostly caused by lack of character depth. I can't recall much since I didn't read this story in quite a while, but one of them that I recall has to do with the school elder. In the first place, for what reason would the elder restrict the contents of the class? There can still be an excuse for this however. Ignoring that, we could assume that it might be "confidential info" for whatever reason. But the next part is: why would the elder throw the shattered sprit stones at the MC? I think anyone that could reach such a rank would realise that throwing the shards would only benefit the mc. If he somehow used all the rocks in the school, purchasing new rocks from a supplier should not be a problem. At worse, he could collect the rocks from other sources if he really had to. There were many other issues further on as well, but don't expect me to remember everything after giving up on the novel. Just because you don't see the flaws doesn't mean others don't.

Haha, the vice elder is a later character for the story. Also, it is natural for a sect’s lessons to be private, otherwise, what would be the point of becoming a disciple to a sect. Just because not everything about everything isn’t explained at the start doesn’t make things a plot hole :) I am sorry you disliked the story, but thank you for trying to explain the plot holes you saw.

I did say that the elder's lessons could be treated as a secret. What I was more irked about was that the elder had to throw the shards when he had tonnes of better options to stop the MC from staying up there. I don't believe the elder is uaware that the sprit stones would help the MC. Plus, I am sure he could have used many other cultivation related ways to stop the MC from peeking. The other thing is the school layout in general. Why would they design the classrooms to be in plain sight if they wanted to keep the lessons a secret? Plus, I recall there were many other problems further on too, mostly caused by the lack of depth in character personality.

The book said the walls were 12 meters tall and that the tree was the only thing tall enough to stand on that could let him peer over. It also explained several reasons why the elder started throwing the spirit stone shards (although the real reason is revealed later in the story). As for the school layout, all schools have a front yard >.> and their walls are designed to keep outsiders from seeing anything happen. Also the class outside only happened in the morning and there are plenty of other classes to attend inside. As for character depth in character personality, this is an original novel XD not like any real character depth can be realistically and well-developed in the few chapters this book had been released. Even Library of Heaven's Path (#2 book on the site) had to go through many, many chapters before showcasing depth in character personality XD Being an outsider, Kenja can't really know the intricacies of inside the sect and why/what is done and for what reason. But the tree, the classes, the elder throwing stones, they all have meaning :)

Alright, I'll give you that one. I do admit that I am unaware of many inner workings. However, the main issue I have with the novel is the overly 'wonky' personalities. It's hard for me to engage a novel with characters that are as two dimensional as cardboard cutouts.
