FYI, I'm basing everything I write on how the synopsis is written. I can understand when people drift apart. That happens. But would that really happen over let's say 10 years? (18 is when you become an *****, she was 8, so I'll just say 18). When people go through trials and tribulations in real life, they usually stick together. In real life, a persons personality IS NOT STATIC. If the Prince is initially arrogant, he can become more humble as he is faced with more and more perilous situations. When the female MC is too kind-hearted, she can become more vicious as really f*ck up sh*t happens when you play the i-gotta-be-king game. JUDGING from the synopsis, the female leaves the MC to be with another dude because their characters DID NOT ADAPT AND OVERCOME. What was the point of doing all of that first arc just to throw away everything? What, is status quo god? If the characters are not static, then the sypnosis realistically would make no sense, doing a good novel injustice. If the characters ARE static, then the person who wrote this book should quit writing and do finance or open up a shop somewhere else (basically don't write, keep your dirty hands away from the paper/keyboard). Either way, I'm not comfortable at all with the novel. Like, did the Prince cheat? If so, then he is a complete douchebag. How the hell am I supposed to vibe with a male lead like that? Did she just leave him for no good reason? How am I supposed to vibe with the female lead like that? People are entitled to do whatever they want, including leaving a person that they were with. Except when they do that with no justifiable explanation, they come off as just a really bad person in general. Now, for my first reactions upon seeing this synopsis: Damn, what a f*cking *****. Now, if you girls asked if the gender was swapped, I would still say "what a f*cking *****." They go through thick and thin, and she like, goes for another dude? What? And then she goes with a dude that was fancying her ALL THE WHILE (stalker-ish maybe? Was he purposely sabotaging them or something?) What? What? What?

I understand your analysis based on the synopsis. I will give my view having read the novel...Her leaving him is not an issue of romance at all, there is a lot more that goes on having more to do the war and the betrayal of comrades who helped him (along with her) when he was down and he turned his back on them as well as, all sorts of other schemes (to ostracize, isolate, kills her people, spy on her and weaken her power due to his insecurities) that lead to her leaving him and it wasn't to go into the arms of another man either...it was simply to go live the life she wanted after finally realizing that both their paths were no longer compatible, her going towards a path for ******* for all people as she suffered through slavery in this world and oppression (something he told her his country was and was supposed to be what they both wanted to achieve) and him going towards a path of increasing bloodlust, rage, and power-hungry rampage... She was completely down and with him on getting revenge and worked hard for years along with said comrades (*spoiler*<spoiler>he later deems "unrelated" people to him, as he kills them, not even sparing his younger sister- because they could potentially threaten him because they held some power and trust of the people (like she does) even though they were completely loyal and were the ones (along with the female lead) who helped him amass his power while he was in captivity for years</spoiler>)to build his power so he could attain that revenge, once he got the power in his hands, he became consumed by it and became exactly what he despised (a paranoid leader who executes trustworthy allies like what had been done to his family, and he even goes a step worse) she tolerates a lot because of said history of going through thick and thin before she snaps, and while tolerating his actions she works tirelessly to better the lives of his citizens and country, relinquishing her military power and focusing on economic growth of the country to try to curb his insecurities...Also, the other dude was her initial master, who is the heir a large-scale spy organization (hence why he is able to show up all over the place) and he only really showed up when she is in danger to help her and had nothing to do with their falling out... So yeah your review does not reflect the story or its characters at all, you can't base on opinion based on a synopsis that obviously would not reveal the conflicts and intricacies of the relationships that happen, you are given too heavy a judgment with very bare minimum information, while the end result matters, the actions that led to the result matter even more as they give reason to the end result- you shouldn't judge a situation without knowing what led to the end result...if you would read the story, you would see that she had an incredibly justifiable explanation for leaving him, you may even be screaming at her halfway through to dump his ass long before she does so.

Farm Girl's Manor

[Farming]+[Space]+[Heartwarming]+[Prosperity]+[Defeating Scum] Mo Yan, reduced to ashes by an explosion, was reborn in ancient times, becoming a little farm girl on the run from famine! Above her, a kind and handsome Scholar father - not bad! Below her, a lively and adorable pair of younger siblings - very good! But really, she felt like dying all over again, you know? On the run, going without food, drink, or shelter was one thing, but to always guard against bad guys who might capture her to fill their bellies was another! Luckily, her upgradable Space from the previous life followed her, but what the heck - that amazing Space with mountains, water, and meat to eat had been formatted! Faced with a desperate situation, Mo Yan reignited her fighting spirit: So what if it's formatted, I'll still make a fortune and build my wealth right at the foot of the Imperial City! Carving out mountains, planting orchards, buying shops, building houses... not one less! But... there are so many green-eyed troublemakers! Your farm is yours? Here, I'll trap you to death without discussion! Want to be my stepmom? Fine, I'll send you a bunch of widowers! Mother looking for you? Here, take the divorce papers, keep them, don't thank me! ... What? A handsome man is proposing? Uh, this... should I throw myself at him? PS: 1. Insist on farming without wavering + atypical domestic skirmish + no palace intrigue 2. The writing style is fairly serious, and values are normal (not excluding the occasional whimsy of the author) Links to completed works: [Abandoned Farm Girl: A Beautiful Countryside] Link: http://read.xxsy.net/info/527965.html [The General's Legitimate Daughter Not to be Messed With] Link: http://read.xxsy.net/info/473776.html
