but if you want to explain it to me an fictional style i can say it works because you made it and all but can't you explain to me his past

So at first, I wanted to write him as a ruthless character, but then I thought it didn't quite fit. Personally, I quite like characters who are kind enough to help others but wouldn't sacrifice their lives for strangers they don't know or aren't close to (because I don't like the idea of a hero saving 100 strangers over saving one loved one)

So I started rewatching some movies and anime, and in the end, I found a few things that fit quite well. Eventually, I merged everything together and bam! Sad boi with a sad past, caring about his close ones, and being somewhat of a moral hypocrite at times due to his greed His personality is simple like that cus this novel doesn't focus solely on him
