What I really like about this book is how the author just keeps us in suspense while also revealing a lot. the raw emotions, the conflicted thoughts, glimpes of their past lives here and there and a whole lot more. I Know Mike’s boyfriend did something horrible to him which resulted in their temporary separation and left mike devastated but, at the same time I don’t know exactly what lucian did yet. this is the suspense that keeps me at the edge of my seat because I feel like the next chapter will reveal what he did Only for me to read and find out that we still won’t know yet, which if I’m being honest about, gets me slightly annoyed but also stirs my curiosity to a very dangerous level, making it very hard for me to stop reading. It’s really a captivating book and the storyline is still under major development but overall, It’s a lovely book.
