I wasn't clear. It is not that the MC is acting immoral but that the author himself doesn't actually understand or has any morals. Even an evil MC still understand what he is doing is evil or good but not so this MC. This MC is all about a very strange and nonsensical form of justice.
_Arthas_:Morals, I'm can eat it?
I understand your point of view, and I want to be honest. Can you tell me more about your experience with the reading? How far did you get in the story? What did you like, and what frustrated you? Your analysis suggests that you liked the idea but found something that frustrated you. To explain the character in general, he has a loosely defined ethical code, but he is capable of having some level of morality towards people he cares about and would not harm people who are not his enemies, or he can test the determination of certain people who have interests without harming them. At a certain point in the narrative, he goes through an event that leads him to make questionable decisions, including torture, soul-devouring, and some demonic aspects. His emotions are temporarily suppressed, allowing him to take morally ambiguous actions. He fits the profile of an anti-hero but is not a villain or an anti-villain.
