Review Detail of klmorgan in The Soldier Husband

Ok it is the shameless author here. I decided that I would kick off the reviews. Yes this novel moves through the past to the present and may seem a little cliche at times, but for me the closeness of family, that even shows through at the early stage shows that family is the most important thing. Matthew's position as a solider challenges both him and Lexi and their relationship journey, with twists, turns and fights along the way, but will they succeed in their relationship? That even to me is not clear. I love Chester and Phillips story as well. Yes a side story, and may challenge the views of some people as to relationships that are acceptable to society, but their perseverance to get to where they are and where they will go is sweet tinged by the sadness of dealing with cancer (and yes I have left the actual cancer up to your imagination as I did not want to pigeon hole it - it can be any cancer you want it to be).
