In contrast to other novels I've read so far, the main characters here, start as infants. This will let the reader build a familiarity to the characters as they grow. As well as give a good baise for character developlment. The main characters personality traits are introduced in other characters pov wich leaves some room for surprises. The world seems like your typical high-fantasy world that is easy and fast to understand. As for writing style and flow, both are at a good level but have room for improvement. All in all a good novel with lots of potential.
