A story about mages and weird things happening to our MC which is one. The magic usage is interesting though it isn't quite explained how a mage ends up setting their primary magic form. Accompanied by a great sense of humor that reflects our young MC executed in a very engaging manner. It is an upbeat story even with horrible things happening(except for the prologue) that makes the characters stronger through them.

Hullo, thanks for reading! There really is no primary magic form, just people tend to specialize in one form of magic they feel more comfortable with (whether through personality, strengths and weaknesses, family ties, etc.) so that they're stronger in that aspect. Of course, people can also do away with that and be a jack of all trades, but it'll be unlikely they'll ever reach the pinnacle if they delve their hands into every form of magic they see.
