This type of collaboration is almost always for medium and small guilds to take down a massive guild. Seems silly the other way around.

I get competition and fighting. With the plot armor, I'm not worried about the MC, however... This isn't the first time by a long shot that these guys are flat out murdering students. Not fighting, not competing, straight up execution and assassinating. The Dean and the rest of the instructors are trash and deserve to be an unranked blende... err.. 'school.' With the plot requiring it, the school is brutal but effective. Without that, there is no way this school would function the way it's portrayed.
