It's not a blast of air like All Might's Texas Smash. That's easy to do, just punch the air hard. That will create air pressure that blow someone away, but not pierce through them like the Rokuogan. The Rokuogan is really a single-direction shockwave. That's difficult because any shockwave (earthquakes, explosions, sound, literally anything) travels concentrically, or outwards in circles. Rokuogan does not do that so Ajax have to account for this. I do not know the physics involved but I imagine it to involve External Air Manipulation to "bounce" and contain the shockwave in a single direction, like the barrel of a gun, almost. I might add this section to a DBA corner one of these chapters... The Zone is something brand new! It's my brain child, so it has never appeared in the original story. The thing that Krillin did is unrelated, I'm afraid.

Oh boy! There is definitely going to be romance! Perhaps even sweet enough to give some reader diabetes. However, there's no romance yet because Ajax is still like 13. When he becomes more of an appropriate age, those elements will start to trickle in!

Oh my goodness, thank you for taking the time to write that! Yes, Ajax starting weak is something I intentionally planned because I too got tired of the MC that was OP from the start. Like once you became as strong as Buu before Namek is finished, how are you going to create suspense? But I've noticed that there are quite a lot of readers who actually prefer that... Ajax just got his first dose of reality, but that won't be the only one he gets. There will be more challenges along the way as Ajax challenges more and more life lessons. Unlike most stories, Dragon Ball is a story that span decades, and we can see the development of our character's life, so there's plenty of development to come! As for the plot, I can only say we haven't even gotten started yet. EVERYTHING so far up to the middle of Namek have been setting the stages for the later arcs. The true story line haven't even peeked it's head yet, but it will very soon. Please look forward to that! Hopefully, when this story reaches it's conclusion one day, I'll see you there still!

Hey thanks! I have been finding that my story arcs appear to be growing longer and longer. I'm trying to cut down on some less necessary scenes, but I need to experiment with that.
