Yup. I see a lot of main characters with amazing powers that they can control amazingly, but I don't really like them. Not sure if I've stayed too true to that with Lance, but I'm trying.

Haven't put much thought into romance, to be honest. Didn't think it was necessary for the plot, but maybe I'll change my mind.

Kinda going for that sort of thing for the beginning. Didn't want him to feel bland and boring, so trying to do that sort of him and better him. First time publishing a story, so not too sure how it's going. Only the beginning, though.

The sword is quite powerful in the novels

Made a pretty big mistake here with the clans, considering there is actually 5. Not gonna edit it now, but will make sure to not make the same mistake twice. Let me know if you spot anything like this, only happened to notice myself.

Haha, in all fairness I haven't made it very obvious. The next chapter should probably give some sense to his actions, though.
