I know this comment may be late, but I just wanted to say it. Can't these writers write MCs who are already mature, maybe around 25 - 30 years old. It's really hard to read a 10 year old MC behaving and acting mature, let alone talking to an adult man as an equal, and the child he's talking to is acting so that it's normal.
