This, my dear reader, is what I'd call the Doraemon syndrome, where Bell would either forget or not bother to use alternative gadgets if the one he intended to use was unavailable. It's just like in the Doraemon Dinosaur movie when they were worried about the take-copter battery but forgot that Doraemon had many more flying-related gadgets :))

There are many things that I changed in this fic, honestly. In my mind, I wrote it as if Freya had charmed them to avoid causing any casualties, instead of outright ignoring the crowd. Some bruises and broken limbs were okay enough :))

Unknown to Shirou, the Heroic Spirits here already knew how much he had lost in the fire. Home, family, memory, even his own identity. Not to mention his inevitable clash against the corrupted grail in the future. The trauma from the fire alone should haunt him for the rest of his life; that's how nightmarish it was. Tamamo was thankful that the Overseer decided to seal most of Shirou's gruesome and traumatic memories for now, giving him some chance to live a somewhat normal childhood.
