I don't actually know why I didn't include Ryūjin and Akeno's childhood. I certainly could have, but the opening chapters were written so quickly that it kinda felt like there was little need for the chapters to go that way, I suppose. it's kinda late now, but I could always do flashbacks, or I could write in prequel chapters. I don't know. The year has been pretty tough towards the end.

there were bodyguards, but Adda, for all her gains, is still somewhat damaged. Even in trying to prove herself to aethan, everyone else, and herself, I wanted the lesson of being too trusting or confident to be a haunting lesson to Adda's wider development arc. in this case, she underestimated a man's capacity for violence, his hatred, and how far he was willing to go for even a fleeting bit of satisfaction. in that same breath, she overestimated herself and how well received her efforts were. everything has some kind of consequence. Newton's third Law being my point here.

after that, it's kind of up in the air for me on whether or not Cobalt goes after Regice and Regirock as for other legendary mons, well just wait and see

well, maybe not the management's position then, just out Mylo for what he is and what he did. they terminate his contract for speaking the truth he has grounds for a wrongful termination suit or something. i just want to see Mylo get shit on by the fans

well, i can confirm that the regi's will be caught and will, in fact, be caught sooner rather than later. the plan is for Cobalt to go after two legendary Pokémon after Cerulean City. the first one being the most difficult for him at that point in the story
