The ambush worked. I jumped out and took down first on very quickly, then rushed to the bowman, and knocked the weapon out of his hands before he could even put an arrow on the bowstring. Then I bashed him in the face with my shield. It was an awkward strike but still managed to knock him down. Then I had to parry the incoming blow of the third charging goblin. It was easy. prospect of getting three
A few hours later I found my first group. Five green, ugly dudes. Too many for me, so I didn't engage and changed my path. I have to admit, that I was lucky in some ways that day. I found the next group very quickly. Three goblins armed with two clubs, and a blade which I found about later, after engaging in a fight. At the start, I was actually hesitant to do so, because the previous group was actually close enough to get lured by the sounds of our battle, but the perspective of getting three crystals was too much for me to ignore. - Lucinda_Hacker16hComentou

Unfortunately, a goblin on the ground jumped on my leg trying to bite, but I smacked him with the shield and then finished. Sometime later I got myself another group of goblins. Three this time. One had a bow. I managed to sneak a bit closer to them, than the last time. Then I just yelled at them while showing myself. My feet hurt a lot. The skin on the sole was really dry and started to harden from all the barefoot walking. There was also a lier of dirt on them. Non-existing animals. It was like they were not really living beings. Dumb dolls doing what they were programmed to do. I kept those thoughts to myself. It felt like I was slowly going to something. Only I was dumb
I wondered if somebody is gonna die to goblins. Only I were dumb enough to hunt alone. Others went in groups so it was harder to get yourself killed. As I was looking around I also noticed that number of newly wounded was greater. Did they become more reckless? Maybe goblins started to roam in bigger groups? Or people just went crazier for crystals? Maybe the possibility of upgrading yourself was the reason? - Lucinda_Hacker17hComentou

Bowl also wasn't by all means pretty. I just hit the plank with rock and removed splinted pieces to finally make it into something bowl-shaped. Then I filled it with water from the device. The idea itself was logical, in opposition to some proposed earlier, so Mihael went for it. It didn't work. Why? Well… simply because something was still missing, but Mihael found what by himself, by just putting his hand on the device. Cristal vanished. It looked like it melted, and then the 'First Killer' laughed loudly. Why? Because he just earned a hundred points. - Lucinda_Hacker17hComentou

I didn't want that to happen. I wanted to stay as far away as I could from it. Why? It disgusted me, and I was afraid. Take other people's life just to prolong my misery in this place? No, never. Don't understand me wrong, I'm not trying to describe myself as a hero. I wasn't one. If it was an RPG game, I would probably be a side character who needs somebody to show him the way, but it wasn't, and there was nobody to depend on. I felt alone, so I had to fight alone. Hiding, and waiting like fucking coward. Pathetic, but that's how it was.
