I personally like it to grind stats that are still grindable in the early stage before using SP. It increases your base stats while BEING LVL 1, which then can be added by leveling up and using SP. Imagine that, a lvl 1 player has 100 on multiple attributes before even reaching lvl 2. And if there's a level cap of, lets say Lvl 100, then compared to other players didn't grind for those early stats without SP would have a gap of 100 stat difference to those who grinded early on. Those players can then focus on the end game more than those who still need to grind for the stats to match their strength to the ones who already did.
