Gotta say, love your story so far. Really love the fact this didn’t turn off the path like… 98% of stories in which mc somehow gets a “power boost” because of their reincarnation. The whole eminence of shadow angle was truly a surprise. Hope to see the future chapters, this short story was kinda heartwarming too.

Suddenly story dive in quality on what made the story good. There was no need to make mc powerful or greater than he already is. The point of making the story focus on someone in the position of mc is always to change things by the limits of their new bodies and position. Not because of some random golden finger or transmigration or three wish bullshit. Gonna give the story the benefit of the doubt but those type of stories truly shine not because mc is powerful, but by the new connections his new personality made and how those very thing a alter the fate of the world in ways mc didn’t even though possible. One such story that comes to mind is Trash of the count family. Obviously he gets a power up but how many chapters in is that and how many sets back let to that situation? There are other fanfics too, like changing a single aspect like turning a character into a coffe maker from the stories from Coeur Al’Aran or maybe even the one example you gave, about rwby Jacknes. The stories of him are about him using his political power or resources. But, again, your story so far has been great and will give the benefit of the doubt so long as this isn’t a god like power up.

Totally not Zatch Bell…. Wait, what if Zatch bell is either the past or future of Black Clover? After all, wasn’t the whole free for all thing to decide who will be king/queen? Le gasp.
