It's one of the best OP fanfics i've read in a while. The pacing is all right, though it does have moments where it gets a bit wonky. MC's power is both cool and interesting, taking after a certain red haired character, who is not Shanks. The time where it takes place is also a pretty unique thing, considering its during the age of Roger and all the other oldies. With this being a rewrite of an already great fanfic, i'm confident it will be even better than before. So i definatly recomend giving it a try
