I agree with you. I, too, use Chat GPT for help with my story. However, the vast majority of it has to be written by me because Chat doesn't like creating violence, which, for my novel, is kind of key. Chat GPT being an AI also doesn't understand how human interactions work. Also, what YungMastuh said can be true, if it follows the same concept of asking it to write very specific things, but even if someone where to use Chat GPT to make the entire story, they would need to go through the works of editing it as well. There's something about Chat GPT that makes its text read too robotic and emotionless.
