Pheromones are not a scent per se. More like it is a type of macro molecules produced by your body that is realised in the air and that you normaly don't perceive. Yes, you actually produce pheromones you just can't sence it and others can't too . But some other living beings can.

As a student in Biology I always wondered what stops her from creating living beings, if the reason is that living beings are to complex and you can't decrypt them atom by atom then I want to say that scientists had already decrypted viruses. With how technology progressed in MHA I am pretty sure they already did it.
