I think luck is the logical choice cause it also increases the chances of him looting other development abilities and abilities of monsters. Alongside the obvious all around improvement better luck would provide.

Seems interesting. Though I really don't know how the mc would manage to keep up with the main caste's power in the long run without insane cheat powers.

What if you somehow evolve his race to some kind of "high human"? With some kinda basic benefits such as longevity/eternal life, enhanced natural physical limits, some kinda healing/regen, etc. Then he can progress easier. Every dxd story I read, the mc is always either a devil, a youkai, or any other supernatural species cause humanity always sucks without sacred gears or some niche bloodline. Or they start as human and either get reincarnated (fuck that) or find a way to turn themselves into something else using a ritual or something or other. Would be nice to just see the mc elevate what human limits are.

Just because its an SI into somebody other than luffy has me more interested. Hopefully, this gets a more regular release schedule though.
